Really, I need a new scanner. Too many people putting up really cool stuff and having me talk about them when this blog is essentially about me. MEMEMEMEMEMEME. Seriously, I found this site on Dooce today. it's a blog about dogs. Weimeraners to be exact. And I think it's lovely to devote a whole blog to that...check it out.
Oliver Daily what a great name for a dog. Anyhoo. I'm becoming more and more convinced that blogs are fun. However, there's a scary trend of bloggers getting book deals lately. alot of them. In one way, I'm so happy for them in that their getting paid to what they obviously love. but with all the marketing and publicity and scary conglomerates committing their blogs to paper. It's a little sad to see that freedom lost in that the CONTRACT says they have to stop doing what they love to dedicate themselves to the book and hide the blog so people will have to buy the book. a little irritating really. But I have to say, Bitter is the new black is quite a good read. and it's nice to have it in a handy book. but I hope she doesn't stop blogging. I've been a little peevish lately as my life once again has become uncertain. and it's a little scary again. I so need to get used to change. It's going to happen anyway. more on that later as events progress.
