You say it's your birthday......it's my birthday too!

Today is Maisy's 5th Birthday. *sniff* My little baby is all grown up now. Actually, she really has no idea what day it is but seems to think she should be treated this well every day of her life frankly... I owe quite a bit to this little girl. She got me through some very rough patches during the last five years. She even got a dedication in my thesis. She is my teddy bear, my confidant, and my alarm clock. I never would have finished grad school if it weren't for her need to wake at 6 am every day. I'm so lucky to have such great little dogs. I feel sorry for people who can't relate to them. Today we will be going to Petsmart where Miss Maisy gets to pick out her present. Mia gets one too, but hey more the merrier and we get to do it all over again in December for Mia's birthday. Why not? I love the little things that make life bearable. I know many people live for huge celebrations like graduations, but for me, I will always cherish the small everyday miracles that seem invisible to most. Happy Birthday Maisy!
